
Budget Car Rental Corporate Sales Campaign
Cendant acquired Budget Car Rental and positioned it to corporate customers as a lower-priced, fewer-frills complement to its Avis brand. Cendant had transformed Budget, and a newly-combined sales force needed new tools and training to tell its new story: "Budget Means Business."
D2 Creative developed a multi-dimensional sales training and support program that included an upbeat consumer video, a scripted graphic presentation, an inspiring sales training video, and clear directions for using these tools effectively. The program was an immediate success; Budget corporate sales jumped significantly, even while the segment as a whole declined.
